Testicular cancer is a type of cancer that originates in the testicles and is most common in young and middle-aged men.
Symptoms
- Lump or swelling in the testicle
- A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum
- Dull ache in the groin or abdomen
- Sudden collection of fluid in the scrotum
- Pain or discomfort in a testicle
Causes
- Undescended testicle (cryptorchidism)
- Family history of testicular cancer
- HIV infection
- Abnormal testicular development

- Surgical removal of the testicle (orchiectomy)

- Surveillance for early-stage cases
